When referring to cut to length and welded blades, please use the following terminology:

Blade description has 4 parts: size, tooth count, tooth type, and length.
The 4 parts of the description are spaced with "-" marks

Typical Blade Sizes:

Expressed in fractional inches

  • 1/2
  • 5/8
  • 3/4
  • 1

Blade Tooth Count:

Number of teeth per inch or other blade style

  • 3
  • 4
  • 8
  • 10
  • NT   No Teeth

Tooth Type:

Refers to the style and material of the cutting edge

  • CN   CarboN Steel
  • CD   CarbiDe Tipped Tooth
  • GE   Grit Edge Carbide
  • KS   Knife Edge Scallop
  • KR   Knife Edge Razor

Length:

Expressed in inches and decimal inches

  • 145     12’ 1”
  • 236.5   19’8-1/2”
