Forrest Mfg. builds industrial vertical bandsaws with moving tables for shops that cut insulation, rigid foam, graphite, honeycomb, refractory materials and plastic pipe. The operator loads the workpiece onto a steel table and pushes the table through the blade, so heavy or awkward pieces get fast, clean cuts without being hand-fed. Choose from six standard vertical band saw models, or have one modified for your material and part size.

The moving table is the most common vertical bandsaw design on the market, and for good reason. The blade stays fixed while the table carries the part, which keeps the cut line steady and takes the weight off the operator's hands. Each Forrest table has a 12 gauge steel surface, and the heavier models carry workpieces up to 800 pounds.

• Low density insulation and foam: the Model 230 handles oversized pieces with its 30" x 24" throat, and the Model 214 adds angled cuts.
• Dense materials like graphite: the Model 204 runs wider blades on 20" wheels for more cutting power.
• Heavy blocks and medium density materials: the Model 236 Heavy supports up to 800 pounds and pairs with the precision bandsaw fence for repeatable cuts.
